The PGA Tour is in Memphis this weekend for the FedEx St. Jude Classic, the final tuneup before the U.S. Open.
The pros tee it up at TPC Southwind beginning Thursday, June 9.
This year’s St. Jude Classic purse is $6.2 million, with the winner taking home a $1.116 million share of that.
Those numbers are up slightly from the 2015 event, when the total prize money was $6 million. Fabian Gomez picked up his first PGA Tour victory and a check for $1.08M.
Players payouts for the 2016 tournament will be determined over the weekend.
This year’s 2016 St. Jude field is highlighted by Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka.
